General assembly May 2, 2018

On May 2, 2018, the General Assembly of the Learned Society of the Slovak Academy of Sciences took place in the Auditorium of the QUTE Center for Quantum Information Research in the SAS Patrónka complex. The General Meeting was attended by guests JUDr. Mgr. Martina Lubyová, PhD., Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic, Ing. Ľubomír Petrák, CSc., Chairman of the Committee of the National Council of the Slovak Republic for Education, Science, Youth and Sport and Juraj Draxler, MA, former Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic. The main item on the agenda was the State Science Policy and state science programs. The General Meeting elected prof. Maria Batorova to the Council. The General Assembly approved the framework plan of activities, the creation of working groups and the program of the annual dinner.
