Anatomy of Violence

Is violence a legacy of our evolutionary history? How has violence developed in individual civilizations and where has it reached in modern states? How do social determinants – poverty, inequality, lack of opportunities – contribute to the emergence of conflicts between social groups?

The Learned Society of Slovakia invites you to a discussion on on violence in human society from an evolutionary, historical and psychological perspective.
